The provincial government is demanding that the company pay for the construction of a new school. According to a report by Ars Technica, the lawsuit accuses OpenAI of "aiding and abetting a mass attack."
According to the allegations put forward in the lawsuit petition, ChatGPT reinforced the attacker's violent thoughts. The province also claims that OpenAI did not report the situation to the police.
